- Malaysian students who choose to sit for EJU Examination in Malaysia and apply for Japanese university which offers the Pre-arrival Admission System will be granted admission by Japanese university by using EJU Examination results, without having to travel to Japan for another round of admission test.
- In the case where the university requires international students to sit for their own admission test on top of the EJU Examination, it is necessary for the students to travel to Japan to sit for the required test.
* Duration of study for regular undergraduate faculties = 4 years
* Duration of study for faculties of medicine, dentistry, veterinary sciences and certain faculty in pharmacy = 6 years
